I think that every Macintosh users likes to have everything nice and tidy on his own machine. In this view, I found rather annoying that a lot factory-distributed cdevs come with icons that, although coloured, don't follow the fabled "Macintosh Interface Guidelines": in practice, they don't have the little slider as the Apple cdevs do. Therefore, I managed to add it to the ones I use most.
Maybe IATWMTB 2.0 will come out shortly, but who knows? It may even happen that the developers get the idea!
To use them, open ResEdit, open the icon file(s), copy to the clipboard (command-A will do), open a copy of the file, and paste. Allow the past *WITHOUT* unique IDs. Then save and try it.
If everything went OK, you can trash that ugly older version!
PW stands for Postcardwere (or Postcardwhere). It means that you can use it freely, as long as you distribute the package with this document. In addition, if you like and use them, send me a postcard!
